National Research Initiative Competitive Grants Program (NRI)

The term 'National Research Initiative Competitive Grants Program (NRI) ' as it applies to the area of agriculture can be defined as ' Generally referred to as the NRI, this program makes grants to scientists at both public and private laboratories for basic and applied agricultural research in priority areas as designated in the research title of the FACT Act of 1990.
